You can arrange photos in bulk within a gallery or move them between galleries.
Drag & drop!
- Log in, if you haven't already.
- View your photos in the Traditional, SmugMug, or All Thumbs style.
- Look for the arrange mode checkbox. Check it. Now click a small image, hold your mouse down, and drag it where you want it. Release.
Smooth as butter?
Gotcha: If you have customized your gallery to automatically sort by caption, date, etc., it will override the arrange tool.
Tip: Try the All Thumbs style. It puts every photo in the gallery on one page — perfect for arranging. Or, select Drag to Arrange from the Tools Menu. It generates a page of thumbs for you.
Other options
The Arrange photos tool, at right, will let you scoot photos around your gallery in a hurry. It takes a few seconds to get your left hand on the W, A, S and D keys and your right hand on the arrow keys, but when you do you can arrange at warp speed.
You'll find this tool in the Tools Menu.
You can set a gallery to "Auto sort" in your Customize Gallery settings. Tips.
